CB Sale Tracker
Do you know which articles are making you money?
If not, then you are wasting time writing articles that do not sell!
Track affiliate sales back to the ARTICLE that generated the sale! *
(ClickBank, Commission Junction or any affiliate network with a tracking field)
Imagine how your profits would soar if you knew where your Clickbank and other affiliate sales were coming from; not just which article directory, but the exact article! If you are like me you don't have any extra time to waste working on articles that do not put money in your pocket.
Maybe you know what keywords a visitor used to find your website, but which ones became sales and put a commission in your pocket? CBSaleTracker will tell you what keyword was used in a Google, Yahoo! or Bing search to find your website and rack up a sale. Tracking Clickbank sales back to the source has never been easier.
This is an Article Marketers dream come true!
Knowing where your sales come from will allow you to concentrate your time and efforts on activities that pay instead of wasting your life doing things that do NOT pay. Stop wasting time writing for keywords that do not convert and submitting to directories that NEVER send you a buyer.
Every internet guru tells you to:
- Spend time on what is working, quit doing what doesn't
- Test, Test, Test - (usually without telling you how)
- Identify your best performing articles and keywords (based on what, views & clicks? No Way!)
- Know which article directories are the most profitable to submit to
So how does an article marketer KNOW what is working? How do you know what your best performing articles and keywords are? Statistics provided by article directories like EzineArticles only show views and clickthrus, they have no idea if the click generated a sale or if it was just a competitor checking you out!
I personally have articles with 1000's of views, 100's of clickthrus, but NO sales. While at the same time, I have many articles with only 10 - 20 views (this is views, not clickthrus) but at least 1 sale! Guess which ones I try to replicate?
Views and Clickthrus might boost your EGO, but only SALES will boost your BANK ACCOUNT.
Google Analytics can tell you a lot - if you know how to use it, but only the domain where traffic comes from, not the exact page - in our case, article. Nor does Google know if the person actually BOUGHT something to generate a COMMISSION for you.
CBSaleTracker does not require you to be a genius or follow "50 easy steps" to know how to track your ClickBank sales!
Let's take a look at exactly what CBSaleTracker can do for you.
Everyone loves to open up their Clickbank account and see sales like these:

But when you have no idea what generated those sales you have no choice but to keep doing all the crazy things you have been doing, submitting articles to every directory with no idea which ones buyers were coming from.
How much more profit could you generate from your efforts if you knew EXACTLY where those customers came from?
ClickBank provides TID (Tracking ID) field that can be used to give you more detail about the source of a sale; but you have to use it! With CBSaleTracker, we do the work for you. Just send the traffic to your top level domain from an article directory, no special work or knowledge on your part needed. (Also works from squeeze page or other web page.)

With the information above, you can pull up the exact article from EzineArticles that generated the sale by typing this into your web browser:
http://EzineArticles.com/?id=nnnnnnn
Where "nnnnnnn" is the number shown in the Clickbank report (I blurred specifics for obvious reasons).
GoArticles works the same way.
With other article directories that we have programmed for, you get a 4 letter abbreviation of the website so that you get up to 20 characters of the article name, lens name (Squidoo) or hub name (HubPages).
Here are the directories currently covered specifically:
- ArticlesBase.com
- ArticlesFactory.com
- ArticleAlley.com
- Buzzle.com
- EasyArticles.com
- EzineArticles.com
- GoArticles.com
- Jabberdi.com
- Squidoo.com
- HubPages.com
- Bonus: Includes Google, Yahoo! & Bing searches, showing the first 20 characters of the keyword used
For any other website, you get the domain name, such as with EzineSeeker.com in the screen shot above.
See full list of supported websites here along with example TIDs and a utility for pulling up the exact article.
Clickbank provides the TID field so you can track your sales back to the source; and maybe you have tried some of that by tediously creating and inserting a TID code into various submissions. Good luck, though, getting that past EzineArticles editors who allow only a top level domain name in the link.
How much easier would it be if you could get that information AUTOMATICALLY with no extra effort on your part?
All of your links could simply be:
<a href="http://YourTopLevelDomain.info">[anchor text/keywords] - click here</a>
yet you still knew, at minimum, what website the buyer came from and possibly even the exact article number, first few words in the article name, lens name or hub name, or maybe the keyword they searched Google or Yahoo with?
You could then TARGET your efforts into tasks that resulted in money in your Clickbank account instead of just dry stats about views and clickthrus.
Would you rather spend time on an article that generated 500 views, 200 clickthrus and 0 sales or one that generated 125 views, 15 clickthrus, but 3 sales? I would rather spend my time on articles that pulled in sales and create more like them using similar keywords.
How does ClickBank Sale Tracker work?
You can have a simple top level domain (.com, .info, whatever you like) which is what EzineArticles requires for affiliate links, with just this simple code as the home page:
<?
$link = "";
include("includes/hoplink.php");
include("includes/createtid.php");
header("Location: $link");
?>
You put your Clickbank hoplink in a text file named hoplink.php:
http://yourClickbankID.vendor.hop.clickbank.net (or preferably the newer, encrypted version)
Copy the index.php file we give you along with a couple of files we provide to do the heavy lifting to your webserver (we show you step by step how to do that if you don't know - library of training videos available in support area, easy to follow).
And CBSaleTracker does the rest!
Will it work if you have a website or landing page built out? YES!
The code usage is just slightly different, but it works the same way. This screenshot shows how I prepended the number '4' to the front of the ClickBank TID code so that I would know which link the person clicked on in addition to knowing the buyer came from HubPages.com and which hub they were viewing.

If you came here from another website, including Google or Yahoo, the ClickBank TID information you generated is shown below.
Here is the TID generated from your visit to our website today:
- Domain Abbreviation:
- Article, Video or Keyword (CB does not allow spaces or special characters):
- ClickBank TID:

Who Uses CBSaleTracker?
If you are an article marketer, you have probably heard of Travis Sago and his "Bum Marketing Method". Well, CBSaleTracker is a perfect fit for Bum Marketers, especially when you want to test a niche with top level domain redirects. Over and over Travis will talk about keywords and knowing which ones are money makers. We can help you find that out.
Another famous article marketer and online guru, Jennifer L., better known as "PotPieGirl", created a website called theDAMway (DAM=Direct Article Marketing) that explains how to make money online using top level redirects and even suggests CBSaleTracker for automatically tracking the source of those sales.
Both Travis and Jennifer know that tracking your sales and knowing which articles and keywords generated the sale are key to improving your online marketing and making more money!
Extra Bonus - Track Newsletter Signups!
Not every customer buys your ClickBank product on the first visit to your website. If you are not doing a top level redirect, but instead have a pre-sales page with a newsletter signup, then why not record the tracking information with the newsletter signup?
I do this with my Aweber lists. Add a custom field to your list database, then post the tracking id information into that custom field when the potential buyer signs up for your list! When the sale comes through, match the sale to the tracking information in your list database. Currently works on web forms.
Here's what that looks like:

Just think what that could do for your list building success!
Are you ready to take action and make more money?
Unlock the secret of where your affiliate sales are coming from so you can generate even more sales! Put CBSaleTracker to work for you today. It's not just for ClickBank anymore.
Unfortunately, CBSaleTracker is currently not for sale.
For whatever reason(s) it got to where people were buying the product in the HOPES it might do something it didn't, then refunded when they acknowledged reality. This gave the product a high refund rate at Clickbank causing some potential customers to question the integrity of this site and myself.
I therefore voluntarily took this product off the ClickBank marketplace
I have always tried to be very clear in my claims on this sales page and in any personal inquiries anyone made. I created training videos that some people never watched before refunding.
While I would love to put this product into an easy plugin for WordPress I am not sure that is even possible; I could find no one willing to take on the task. Since every theme is slightly different it is impossible to say how simple it may or may not be to install in WordPress.
I have it installed and working with minimum effort on many WordPress and other HTML websites of my own. But as I have tried to make clear, once you go outside the basic instructions laid out in the videos here, SOME technical expertise is required either on your part or someone you may hire.
I have done my best to help anyone who asked assistance in the forum, but that is now closed to new registrants due to spammers being the only ones interested in posting.
Keep in mind also that it is difficult to spend hours researching, testing and solving issues for each individual case all based on a profit (after affiliate commission, most who bought through their own link) of about $8 per sale.
Thank you for your interest, please feel free to download the free report which I do feel is still of value.
Best,
Roger.
